The cap badge

Hi
i was wondering if anyone can shed some light on the cap badge worn by wolfie smith?In the stills it looks grey but i have been informed that it was a green hallcroft house badge.(Hallcroft school Ilkeston)I know Robert Lindsey went to Bennerley school (Ilkeston) and wondered if this was infact a school badge or is it pure coincidence?
