Can't find series 5,6, and 7 in DVD FORMAT in the UK

I'm living in the UK now. I have bought series 1-4 from Amazon.co.uk but cannot find series 5,6, and 7 of all creatures great and small in "DVD FORMAT". Anybody have any updated information about them please?

reply

They are not available at the moment in the UK, you can sometimes find them on e-bay (but they are imports).

Sorry for a bit late reply. Thank you very much rennie45 for the information. By the way, do you have any rough idea when the series are going to be available? Cheers!

reply

Sorry I don't know when they are being released in the UK. Series 3 & 4 came out at the end of last year, so I can't imagine that they will be far behind.

Thanx a lot rennie45!

It seems that series 5,6, and 7 are only available in Region 1 DVD format (North America).
I bought a multi-region DVD player from Currys for £25.00 and I also bought the Region 1 DVDs through amazon.co.uk (seller: caiman usa). They cost around £35.00 for each series.
If you buy the multi-region DVD player from Currys, you will need to key in a code to make it multi-region. The code is available on the Currys website. Once the code is keyed you do not need to do it again.
You can then also play any region DVDs which means you can buy them cheaply from abroad, so the DVD player will soon pay for itself.
You may also be able to input a code to your existing DVD player to make it multi-region. Please visit the website www.dvdreviewer.com and search for multi-region hack. Most DVD players can be hacked, except major brands like Panasonic and Sony.

Series 5 is selling on e-bay at the moment for about £17 which has come down from £39.99. It is a Dutch import but perfect quality. Just thought you might like to know.
