One of the better foreign horror movies from the 70s

Didn't feel "cheap" like so many Spanish & Italian sleeze that was coming out around this time. Night of the Living Dead meets Children of the Corn!

I agree with you. It's not only good as a foreign film, but it is a good movie period. It is one of my favorites. The 1970s is my absolute favorite decade for horror films and wonderful movies like this are the reason why.

I've been waiting for you, Ben.

One of the best lost horror movies ever. I wish it could be rediscovered by the general public. Too good to miss!

Definitely, crostonc. I can't believe someone on this board called it overrated. Overrated? Really? Man, no one I know has ever even heard of this film.

reply

Absolutely. I expected it be really cheesy and terrible acting. It wasn't at all.

Very underrated, and benefits greatly from the grainy film and isolated feel. This and the wicker man creep the *beep* out of me

I took a blind stab and ordered this on DVD from EBay based off a user recommendation here on MC. Great film! I wish it were available streaming somewhere so others would have more access to it.
