Silly Cheesy dumb film, but worth seeing for the cameos

It is indeed a stinker and I think even in 1976, when it was released, many people may have forgotten who some of the great classic Hollywood stars are/were who are in this dumb film. It is really only fun to watch for all the cameos. I'm so glad they give you a 'heads up' in the credits as to who appears in the cameo roles. Many of them are truly quickie cameos and go by VERY quickly. You almost have to back up the DVD and look and see some of them again, they go by so fast.

A fan of classic old Hollywood like me LOVES this sort of thing. There were and amazing amount of the 'old timers' still alive in 1976 who could be in this film.
Many of the folks appearing in the cameo spots are so old it might be hard to recognize them, lol. HOW MANY PEOPLE KNOW WHO RIN TIN TIN WAS ANYMORE?
Yep, the dog character was based on him.

A Cheesy silly movie, but still fun to view for the old farts.

Rin Tin Tin survived in reruns until the mid 80s.

I was happy that probably my two favorite legends in the movie, Dorothy Lamour and Joan Blondell, got nice little comic parts. Most of them like Alice Faye had blah little parts with nothing special about it and worse some like Ann Miller were basically just extras, shown but no lines.
