The names of the passengers are not those in the film.
The names of the passengers were changed and no doubt a lot of changes were made. See: http://www.ushmm.org/museum/ There is a full list of the passengers etc.

yes, i think they change the names of the charachters etc when the actual minute by minute course of events is unknown. it is also done if a particular charachter in the movie is a composite of several actual persons. the movie can still proclaim that it is "based on actual events".
