Is there a dvd available anywhere with English subtitles?

I`ve seen "Come & See"(1985)which is an amazing and thoroughly depressing film experience but I`m wondering how it compares with "The Ascent".Russian war films are a particular interest and it`s great that more and more are being released on dvd to a Western audience.Have a look at the likes of "Ivan`s Childhood","For The Motherland","Ballad Of A Soldier" and "The Cranes Are Flying".Come on Mosfilm hurry up and put it on DVD!

Seems Criterion will beat them to it. Can't say that's a bad thing though.

Not sure if you're still looking, btu we are watching this movie in my Film History Class, and my professor had it off Netflix with subtitles, so I'm assuming you can get it off there.

This is Nothing!

The (English) subtitles are available freely online, if you buy the DVD and thereby "earn" the right to download the film itself via BitTorrent...(also available).
