It's been 30 years since this was made, but I seem to recall that Kris Kristofferson hated his own acting in this movie that he considered retiring from acting after this was released. Anyone recall this in more detail? I'm glad he continued acting as I have always been a fan of his (but Vigilante Force was a pretty stupid movie though).

This was quite painful to watch, and I wouldn't have been surprised at anyone calling it quits if they were in this trash.
But...
There was plenty to laugh at during the closing scenes... with Kris and his henchmen battling it out with the townies. Not that the fighting was funny but Kris and the bad guys decked out in those red marching band outfits while blasting anything that moved was hilarious.
If you suffer through this film take note how Kris is prone to holding his hats in his hand rather than wearing them... that is until he is running around at the end like the Evil Circus Boy... again, hilarious!

I always enjoy coming across your posts, roeg. They always give me a good laugh, and I almost always agree with you. You seem very intelligent, but I think you need to understand what a troll is.
