This Movie ROCKS !!!

I like it. I saw it when it was first released in a nice theater full of what looked like a half-way well educated crowd; and, looking around the theater well into the movie, I saw seriously mortified looks on most of their faces while I thought that it was quite funny. Filing out of the theater afterward many of them looked downright chagrined if not very angry! I guess, that, when made to confront their folly, Americans can be rather non-plussed.

I love these old sendups of television, with many of the counterculture heroes as well as a lot of names who would become familiar in the '80s and beyond in television, movies and even politics. This isn't quite as funny as "The Groove Tube," but it still shows many moments of demented brilliance. 7/10 stars from me.

I remember seeing this with my friends at the theater when it came out.

(It was a great theater, they always let us into R rated flicks.)

And we sat through it like THREE TIMES.

Have not seen it since, but I would if I could.
Someone mentioned they got it for 25 bucks on Amazon.
I just looked... and they have a copy...
FOR $299! lol, dont want to see it again THAT bad ;)
