I'm intruiged byHopper during this period and how his addiction affected his work..there's something very left of centre about him in a strangely mainstream way anyway...
I loved this film ; purely for his unique acting style and charisma, the period details, the lovely shots..the whole un - tilted and seemingly meaninglessness of it...
completely agree about hopper during this period. loved him in this and "the american friend".

Fantastic little gem. Hopefully this will get more looks as it is pure 70's filmmaking....one of the greatest periods in film history. Hopper is totally awesome. Peter Fonda,Nicholson,Hopper...loved their leftist films of the period.
