I just found this: http://www.pulpmovies.com/f11/2007/07/moonlight-murders-update/.

Apparently they are making a remake, but I haven't been able to find anything else about it yet. I sent a message to the guy through his myspace page so we'll see if he replies. I hope it's out, or close to being out. I want to see it!

I would love to see a remake of this movie myself. I would prefer it to be more to the actual case than the way the movie potrayed everything.
