Why Does IMDB Not List This As A Horror Movie?
They have it listed as a crime, drama, mystery. I see that the remake is listed as a horror movie.
shareI think imdb only lists up to three genres per film and I would say it's much more crime and mystery (and comedy) than a horror movie. I think the remake/sequel or whatever it is is aiming more for horror.

shareI notice that IMDb have now got this movie as Crime, Drama and Horror as the three main genres for this movie. IMDb do offer more than three genres as a description now. If you scroll down to the page between Taglines and Certificate rating there is a wider description of genres that the movie represents. In the case of this movie Mystery and Thriller are also added to the 3 displayed at the top. IMDb seem to keep the genres listed in alphabetical order so it always pays to scroll down.
