One of Christopher Lees best performances for Hammer

Christopher Lee did do a nice job here, and it was great that he had a good amount of screen time. I can commend the rest of the cast as well. Fine performances all around.

I don't think it's a terrible film, but it's certainly not as good as many other Hammer shockers. If I were to make up a list of Hammer thrillers from best to worst, this film would probably be at the very bottom of the list.

It is indeed a great performance – better than the film itself, I'm afraid.
