If a spin-off series was ever made, it should be set in the 60s, and the Sullivan grandchildren could be involved in the Vietnam War

The only problem with that is when the show ended, Kitty was the only one who had a kid, and it was a girl, so there's no grandchildren to go to Vietnam. (not from Dave and Grace's children anyway)

It was a one of a kind soap and not sure how a next generation story would work. These days aussie soaps are based on the here and now.

I always thought a Prequel would have been awesome. This could be set pre WWI dealing with the young Dave & Harry Sullivan. Dave's relationship with Maggie then the entire WWI would be amazing; how Dave, Norm & Jack all met. Post WWI could be with with the meeting of Dave with Grace. If done well this series could be a stunning success IMHO.
