What are the two songs played by Scheitz on the piano called, and who are the composers?

I was wondering that myself. The DVD calls that scene Beethoven Blues, so I guess its Beethoven but not sure what compositions.

it is the second movement of the moonlight sonata....

No, its the third (final) movement of the Moonlight Sonata.

First and third movements of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, not the second....

To clarify what everyone else said:

1) The first movement of Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata."

2) The third movement of the same piece.
