Great Ending !!!!

If you haven't seen this film it may spoil the ending but not especially.
I have seen this film so many times I never tire of hearing it.

I just sent an email to London Live 94.9fm for great film endings.

My favourite ending is St Ives starring Charles Bronson althought the ending doesn't include him. It is a throw away line of a dripping wet Jacqueline Bisset saying " Inspector could you help me out of my wet things". The world weary Detective looks at the case of loot and freeze frame.

I would like to see the quote included as it doesn't have any quotes listed.

The last few lines of that movie and the timing were just excellent!

I was actually luke warm on the movie until about halfway thru when the same detective showed up halfway thru to scold a couple of cops for their choice of language (remember the hotel room scene?). From that moment on I was hooked straight thru to the end.

I like the ending too, it hints that the cop may be willing to make a deal with Jackie Bissett once St Ives has left the room ..very cool ending, who wouldnt make a deal with the lovely Jackie Bissett who would more than likely split the money with you if you let her go !!!

reply

He wasn't thinking about the money!

I Think you may be right.

"Teeter totter." He acknowledged (in an earlier conversation with St. Ives) that he was close to going over the edge. The ending suggests that he was about to topple. It was beautiful.

It's great. The ultimate 70s ending 

Agreed. Terrific ending. I seriously doubt that Lt. Charles Blunt went through that phone call.

I've been chasing grace/ But grace ain't easy to find

I'd pocket the cash and split her up the *beep*
