Satin

I'm watching the movie right now on TVOne and boy was his hair rough! What did Sister see in him?

reply

Ive always wondered about that, since she saw Satin punch that lady in the gut. Obviously Sister had bad taste in men.

reply

Like others have pointed out, Sister wanted the good, fast life, she saw a man with money who could buy her pretty clothes and things and she fell for it. Satin may be a lowlife, but he had money and a lot of women are attracted to a man with money and power, even if what he's doing is illegal. Sister was a pretty woman who wanted to make it off her looks but not her mind or talent, she was selfish and wanted what she wanted and didn't care how she got it. Seeing Satin hit that woman, didn't stop her from going with him, she was actually attracted to a man hitting another woman and sending her away for her. You know there are women attracted to "bad boys." Back in the 50's and 60's, men hitting women was going on and actually acceptable, many women put up with it back then.

reply

Yeah, Sister was materialistic and was attracted to "bad boys" apparently.

reply

She definently wasn't smart.
