Turn it on it's side, and Cello! Its the greatest bassist ever

A quick question, how tall is John Paul Jones, the greatest bassist and keyboard player in history?
I ask cause I was watching on my Led Zeppelin DVD, and theres one shot where Jones is standing on the same level and behind Jimmy Page, and he dwarfs him, and apparently Page is 5'11".
Jones was taller and wider and made Page look like a guitar-wielding Verne Troyer. It was humorous, and I never knew Jones was so big.
