The 1953 Cadillac

Wow, what a car Buddy Ebsen's Coupe de Ville was! I hope the beauty wasn't smashed up in real life. And then, in 1976, a '53 Cad was worth at most about $800 in driving condition. I had several old Caddys during those years and paid no more than that for any of them. A seller recently had a blue one like that for sale but I doubt it was the same car as the floorboards were rusted extensively. My northern neighbor Missouri does salt the roads. Not likely a California car.
