Very Good Movie

I was surprised, when I saw the date I figured that it would be pretty crappy given the attitudes towards war movies in the immediate aftermath of Vietnam.

I especially liked Lee Marvin's last stand on the Maxim gun.

My question; are their any other movies that deal with the East African Campaign of WW1? Its actually a very interesting story. 14,000 German soldiers (12,000 of which were Black Africans) held off over 500,000 British, French, Belgian, Portuguese and South African troops for over 4 years. They were the ONLY German force that was never defeated during World War I and they were the ONLY German force treated to a victory parade through Berlin when they finally returned home 1919.
