Brutal Film
I just watched this on Netflix and enjoyed it very much. I was, however, quite surprised how brutal this film was, especially considering its release date of 1976.

On the same token, Lee Marvin's PG insults to the German commander at the end of the movie were kind of stupid. A good, profanity-laced tirade was in order. Oh well.
The ridiculous, ketchup-looking blood from older films still cracks me up. I also imagine the effects being little more than a squib taped to a little ketchup pack you get from McDonald's.
On a side note, Roger Moore is a brilliant actor with a lot of range. He can play all kinds of roles...anything from Roger Moore to Roger Moore. All it takes is a simple costume change. One minute he's Roger Moore and the next minute, he's Roger Moore! Brilliant!

A brutal movie from the seventies? No!
