According to an informed source, Sony will release this title in their MOD series program of Columbia Classics on DVD-R, sometime in November of 2011. Hopefully,the disc will be letterboxed (1:85-1) and anamorphic.
shareI just received my copy. It was nice to see the film in widescreen for the first time in my life, as well as decent quality. Nothing spectacular, but the best we will probably ever get.

Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?
Yes it doesn't seem remastered, but is anamorphic. Some noise, pink flesh tones sometimes, but sometimes very good.
Plus even stereo sound.
