shareYes, very much so. Most of the controversy surrounding the film derives from the homoeroticism portrayed between the soldiers and the graphic depiction of male full-frontal nudity. Even now, male full-frontal nudity in a mainstream film is considered controversial.
shareI wonder why is it still so these days. Ewan McGregor seems to be the only mainstream actor who constantly bares it all, without body double etc.
