Is this the film where the bees are lured into a stadium, then gassed to death? I'd thought that was THE SWARM, but I recently watched that movie on YouTube, and it ended quite differently.

Actually, in The Savage Bees, the heroine lets the bees cover her Volkswagen Beetle. She then drives through the streets of New Orleans into the Superdome. Once inside, the air conditioning is lowered. The temperature drops so much that the bees become inert.
Thanks..I guess it's the same film I'm thinking of, and my memory made a few alterations. I could swear that a recording of bee sounds was piped into the stadium, and that lured the swarm inside. During my childhood in the 1970s, the impending arrival of "killer" bees was often discussed in the media.
