Misunderstood Masterpiece

It was all in Kranz's mind. He gave himself a Lynchian experience woven with Buñuel batter, steeped in postmodern philosophy, fettered throughout with Freud's Id, and topped with art imitating life imitating art, perhaps a doppelganger here and there (Stefan George...), in order to complete his manuscript. Without the experience, no enlightenment, no manuscript. This film is the...I Heart Huckabees...of the 1970's.
