Ken Adam!!!!!

I've only seen bits of this film and I may have the wrong impression of it. But it seemed to me that it was one of those films which portrays the Nazis as kinky...

Even if it isn't that type of film, you can be forgiven for thinking that it is. So WHY ON EARTH did the great Ken Adam get involved in this????

Was it a moment of weakness after the troubles he had with Kubrick on Barry Lyndon?

I've never seen the film but from what I've heard of some of the content of its scenes it does seem to have exploitation elements.

I will watch the film when I get the chance to do so.

Although you have to admit it is surprising for someone of the calibre and reputation of Ken Adam to get involved in a film which is either exploitational or will at least inevitably be mistaken as such. This can then, by association, affect his reputation.

When you look at the posters for the film its clearly been packaged and advertised as an exploitation film.

Adam himself called it a 'semi-porno' film which makes his involvement in it all the more surprising.

He did suggest that working with Brass helped him after working with Kubrick.
