Don't know whether it's the cut version but early word is that the video quality is abysmal. At hometheaterforum.com, Robert Harris, responsible for the restorations of (and basically saving) My Fair Lady, Vertigo, Spartacus and Lawrence of Arabia among others, was appalled, saying it was the worst looking Blu-ray he'd ever seen. On a scale 1 - 5, he rated the visual quality as -2.
Another poster added that it was not Shout's fault, that they were forced to accept the aweful remastering given to them by the rights holder from whom they had licensed the film, and so had no control over the image quality.
