Rocky (1976) is my favourite movie of all times! 😋

I can write an essay on why I love this movie, but I will do a brief summary:

- The characters' development is top notch. And we don't have just one character developed deeply, we have four... and can even stretch the count to five if we consider Appolo Creed. And the acting is outstanding from every main actors.

- The script is effective, dynamic, well developed and highly inspirational. The story has a lot of depth and it's constructed so perfectly. It has all the elements that a movie should have (a quest, conflict, resolution and a great ending).

- I think it was snobbed by the Academy when it didn't receive at least a nomination for the cinematography. I thought it brought what was happening on screen (especially during the training and the finale fight) to life! It was excellent.

- The editing and the directing were recognized by the Academy and won Oscars, and it was well deserved. They were both dynamic, passionate and it gave a great passing.

- It was overall highly inspirational and it was an excellent feel-good moment. And for me another element is amazing: the movie was about a triumph, the main character was meant to triumph... and he did, even though HE DIDN'T WIN! That for me makes the movie stand out and have its personal value!
