Stallone is--or was-- closer to 5'9" in his younger days. Don't know where you got your info, but there's no way he was ever 5'7".

I just assumed people were shorter in the 70's.

yes i was just thinking how mickey looks very short as he stands by the ropes and funny thinking he's an ex boxer, also notice what tough attitudes about everyone has in the beginning of the movie, and remarkable how rocky retiring is brought up considering how this franchise is still on today, not fighting of course, good thing rocky didn't hook up with the girl from this in the 2006 movie, that would have been weird then, the dialogue between her and rocky is funny, unfortunately adrian's brother makes the scenes he appears in unwatchable, i wish rocky would have given him one, whenever possible i fast forward the scenes he appears in, i like the actor in other roles though like "convoy" and "back to school", a buddy of mine used to wonder if he didn't move his mouth as he was talking, and speaking of unbearable, how about the guy keep timing as rocky and adrian are on the ice, since the rocky franchise kills off a role in about every movie they should've started with adrian's brother and, spoiler, kept mickey after the third movie, also speaking of mickey, funniest part is when he lashes out at the girls coming up toward rocky as he's training and tony's driver taunting rocky is also funny.
