Of course! Her lovely face, I've read, conforms to the Golden Mean.

Audrey Hepburn have always look good, so you can expect her to do so in this movie

She always looked older than her real age, but in this film, she looks closer to her real age than earlier in her career. But looks aren't an issue in this film. It's the good-natured charm of Hepburn and Connery that lights up their relationship while they eloquently trace their feelings for each other and bring them to the surface.

Did Audrey Hepburn ever not look good?? I mean, at 47 years of age, she still looked as gorgeous as she ever did.

I agree, Phillip! Who do we have to compare her with at that age? Most actresses were not offered work at that age. She also did the part sans her heavy eye makeup that we were used to seeing. Actresses of her age now would have had something done cosmetically..the only exception being Sally Field who hasn't been under the knife yet.

To me she always looked beautiful and elegant, even in her illness.

Both Audrey Hepburn and Sean Connery are agelessly beautiful, and far more appealing than "hip" younger performers people see onscreen now(at least I think so). As one of the previous posters has stated though, looks aren't the issue of this film; its Connery and Hepburn re-discovering their feelings for each other.

She made a damn sexy nun.

Audrey Hepburn is her usual mesmerizing in that movie except ... the hairdo !!! Of course she was a nun, but still, the curly mass of curls she was hiding under her veil makes her look freakish... I can't believe she had a hairstyle remotely looking like that mutton top (she always had the most exquisite style), and I can't believe that they managed to have her curl her hair like that so.... It looks like a hairpiece to me. Does anybody else agree that it's a wig ?

The 70's perm was stupid and annoying, other than that she gave an ok performance.

reply

I agree, but it wasn't as bad as Adrienne Barbeau's hideous perm in "Swamp Thing."
