Better than Braveheart?

I compared it to Braveheart, when I watched it but I find this movie to be better possibly.

The romance between the two leads was just more powerful for me, and the confrontation between the hero and the villain, in the climax, was just a better hero/villain confrontation for me, and I found the ending to be somehow, even more emotional than Braveheart's ending perhaps.
