Worst Ending in the History of Film

I don't care if it's from the original stories. What a waste of time.

Watch Monster A Go Go and you'll change your mind quick about this being the worst ending to a film.

I think it's one of the most romantic scenes I have seen.

Sure. A guy is murdered by his obsessive girlfriend. So romantic.

He was already dying. She gave him a painless, swifter death. And, not wanting to go on without him, she drank the poison as well.

Plus, even if Robin had somehow recovered from his wounds, I think she saw he was getting sucked into a fight he could never possibly have won. It was one thing to oppose the sheriff when he was younger and get away with it, but to oppose the king was something else. She probably saw only one end for such a rebellion if Robin recovered: a smashed rebel army, and her beloved Robin being executed for treason, probably following torture.

No, Robin is given a peaceful death by the woman who loves him more than life itself, and he has the wisdom to recognize the rightness of it for both of them. No more struggling against increasingly doomed odds, no more growing older & being broken by both Time & the cruel, power-driven times ... but the two of them passing into legend together, with full knowledge & gratitude for their lives & their mutual love.
