Does anyone know where I can get this movie? (preferrably on dvd)

This movie can be bought on DVD at www.ruscico.com. They also have many other Russian classics on DVD. I have bought many of them, the discs contains interesting bonus materials and I highly recommend the DVDs they issue.

Regrettably, the 'site for RUSCICO states that the film is not available. I think that I've heard or read that a dispute over royalties has hindered the release (or rerelease?) of "A Slave of Love" on DVD.

Has anyone knowledge of the problem and of when it may be resolved? I'd dearly like to have a copy of one of the finest Russian films ever made.

Kino-Lorber will be putting it out on R1 DVD (for sure) and bluray (I think) within the next few months along with several other Mikhalkov titles. Check their website.
