Poor White Trash #1

I saw this in 1976 under the title Poor White Trash Part 2. I didn't know what Poor White Trash #1 was until years later. Turns out it was a 1957 film with Peter Graves that was originally titled Bayou but re-released under the exploitation title Poor White Trash to hopefully generate more moviegoers. I'm sure the first one had a similar ad campaign as #2 did when I saw it; BECAUSE OF THE INTENSE NATURE OF THIS MOVIE, NO CHILDREN WILL BE ALLOWED! SPECIAL UNIFORMED POLICE WILL SUPERVISE ADMISSIONS!

Thanks for the clarification, Jimmy! I wondered if there had been a Part 1 also. I just bought it online and expect to get it in a week or so - how good is this 1974 flick? The warning line you posted is funny, "special uniformed police"! What the hell is that all about? Is it gory? Does it have a lotta T & A? ;-)
Cheers,

The SPECIAL UNIFORMED POLICE warning was just a gimmick no doubt to attract the curious. There was quite a bit of violence and gore. The main character gets raped. I remember she had quite a hot bod!

Well, good lookin' babe in hot pants stuck in a bayou with crazed 'white trash', I'm SURE she got raped in the swamp! haha - I thought I'd won it off ebay last month but got outbid in the last minutes, so I'm back to not having ever seen it! So, lemme know if ya know anyone who has it for sale! I'm sure it's all VHS and NOT on dvd yet, right?
