Criterion Collection

My local video store carries a lot of foreign titles. I grabbed this one in the Russian section without knowing much about it. Turned out to be a really good involving movie, and the knowledgable clerk told me that it's a really rare video.

This would make an ideal Criterion Collection release. I'd like to hear the director talk about the development of the movie and his choice of a title (which a poster here tells us is difficult to translate into English).

Definitely worth checking out if you can find a tape.
