Best scene

I don't know what the best scene was in this one. I like the begining with "In. Out. In. Out. And now for the kiss of life." and also on the parallel bars when he dismounts down the stairwell. What do you think?

reply

Parallel Bars all the way.

The only match for that is the dart gun scene in The Party

reply

The laughing gas scene is a classic too.

reply

The best is when he fights the chinese guy in his house

Are You Referring to His House Man/Boy AKA Kato, AKA You Little Slime, You Pest, The one who I must destroy! Kato The Sneak! Is that who Your referring to? Could there be anyother? I liked the one when He'd been gone for some time & Kato had turned the Apartment into an Opioum Den/House Or Ill Repute! Which was turning quite a dollar, or should I say a Pound Sterling. That along with Kato'd Fiendish Yellow Mind to Attack Him without any warning. Was that the Little Yellow Menace You had in mind?

The stairwell part was funny but right after that part when he is questioning the staff is hilarious!!

Great movie

Every scene is a laugh a minute.
However, I'm a bit privy to Gerald Ford and Kissinger...Ford tripping over everything and caring about his beloved Wolverines. Kissinger acting catatonic.

"It's an emergency! Did Michigan score?!?!"
"Call the FBI, the CIA, and the Pentagon...AND FIND OUT WHO WON THE GAME!"

GO BLUE!!

reply

Paralell bars

"But that's a priceless steinway!"
"Not anymore!"

"I thought you said your dog doesn't bite"
"That's not my Dog"

Laughing gas

Cato (I love the screaming in slow motion!)

Clousaeu trying to get into the castle

where dreyfus is drilling holes into the floor following him, when clouseau stands on his finger and dreyfus is suspeneded from the ceiling.

then clouseau steps off and his finger goes straight up and he suspends in midair for just a second before falling to the couch below.

that just smacks of the wiley and the roadrunner cartoons.

if it wasn't for my horse, i wouldn't have spent that year in college

"Does your dog bite?"-Classic. Also the entire moat scene-like a Warner Brothers cartoon in live action!

"This is Chief Inspector Clouseau's ray-zay-danse, this is Chief Inspector Clouseau speaking on the pheun! Good evening Commissioner! How are you, how is madame and all ze little commissioners?" Also I love the scene at Oktoberfest where Clouseau is in the toilet stall with two assassins around him, he drops the toilet paper, and they shoot each other! Priceless!

There was a young lady from Venus...

Cato by far and hunchback

reply

Definitely "That is not my dog." Second would be the parallel bars.

I really think that the best scene is where Kato fights with him in slow motion!
I laughed so hard the first few(hundred) times I saw that scene. The Whole house questioning scene was funny where he asks the staff questions and in that scene, he also falls off the parlell bars.

reply

definitely "i was known as the pavlova of the parallels" !!!

reply

Every scene is great.

"Til we meet again and the case is sol-ved"
"Ah, the old closet ploy. There is nothing I enjoy more than a good closet ploy"
"It is my karma"
"Who said murder?"
"That was my singing voice"
"I know that, I know that!"
"Since you went cra-zee"

Etc. etc. Too many to mention haha

"Can I raise a practical question at this point?"

reply

The scene i nthe bathroom. Sellers drops the paper and the 2 assassins next to him in the stalls shoot as he ducks to get the paper, killing each other! One of the funniest scenes in film history!
