This was the first Pink Panther movie I saw in the theaters. I was a kid. It is still one of the funniest films ever made. The laughing gas scene was hysterical.

My favorite scene is him trying to get into the castle; and the of course the laughing gas.
The first time I saw this was a double feature at the drive-in with the previous film opening (which was the first time I saw that one also). My ribs hurt when I got home. Best drive-in experience ever (when I was a kid anyway).

I remember as a young kid, my dad decided to rent all the Pink Panther movies. We started them in order, and I found the original to be very boring, so I lost interest very quickly. When we got to this one, I remember watching it a bit more, but I was more focused on playing with my Star Wars toys lol
When the film series got released on DVD when I was in my teens, my dad bought them, and I decided to give them another chance. Still thought the original was boring, I enjoyed Shot In The Dark a lot. But I was in absolute hysterics throughout the entirety of this film and I've watched it dozens of times. And it remains one of my favourite comedies of all time.
