Which of these 1970's westerns directed/starring Clint Eastwood is your favorite?

Mine is High Plains Drifter because the story is more focused and ahead of its time. So is the chilling music and film techniques that feel very Hitchcockian.

Josey Wales is good, too. The action scenes and main storyline are exciting, but the story wanders sometimes.

Both are great movies. But I must give Josey Wales my vote. Every performance was spot on. And the meeting between Wales and Ten Bears should be read before every new installation of congress members. "Governments don't live together, people live together".
