WHEN IS THIS COMING TO DVD or even just TV again?!?!

I saw this movie YEARS ago and was blown away that a "Made for TV" movie could be THAT good. I have TiVo and I've had it for quite a few years now. I've searched for it feverishly but to no avail. Does anyone know if this DVD is available in other countries? I can't BELIEVE that this hasn't aired on TV in the last 4 years!! And I have EVERY channel known to Cablevision too! This movie is absolutely SMOKIN'. Check it out if it ever comes back on TV again!

I've never seen the movie, but my brother-in-law and father-in-law absolutely rave about it, and scan the new TV Guides every week for it. Do you know what network it aired on? Perhaps they would have a print and plan to issue it in DVD?

The movie was originally aired by ABC in 1976. I saw it when it originally aired and was quite impressed. It had many plots and twists in it and kept you guessing. Unless you know the ending ahead of time, you'll never figure it out.
Because it is a TV movie, these films are rarely issued. Occasionally they are sometimes issued by the big movie companies if there is high demand for them.
A case in point is the ABC TV Movie "Night Stalker/ Night Strangler" which had a huge cult following. It was reissued in 2005 by MGM. It is possible "One of my Wives is Missing" will be issued in the future if demand warrants it.
If you are looking for it to be broadcast somewhere, I think you may wait forever. I havn't seen it on TV for more than a decade. Perhaps they are too dated or rights are too expensive to acquire but vintage TV movies are rarely shown.
All hope is not lost however. There are a number of ways to get it. It was issued by the Direct Source label in October 29, 2002 and was once available on Amazon.com (still listed there) but not now. Direct Source deals with Public Domain films which "One of My Wives is Missing" has become. Try finding the Direct Source label DVD in some dollar type stores where they sell this type of obscure dvd. These type of Public Domain dvds usually sell for less than $5.00 each.
An easier way is to find the movie on ebay or try one of the dealers in obscure films on the internet. One such dealer is www.kultfilms.com. There are also clubs/forums (including imbd) on the internet where films buffs meet. You can arrange with members to get a copy.
Good luck to everyone on the hunt for "One of My Wives is Missing"!

I bought a very good copy from ebay, sharp and good colour. Not like other blurry TV DVDr's. Sometimes he sells it again:

Agreed

There must be some silly licensing issue or it's long lost

What a great film for a TV made movie

I had watched it on YouTube, but wanted a physical copy. Besides, YouTube didn't have great resolution. So we downloaded it from Amazon Prime, but the picture wasn't exactly crisp either. So I bought a DVD ("double feature" with Charade) from Amazon, and guess what? Not a real sharp picture again.

They're all perfectly watchable, but if you know how to download it from YouTube you can save a few bucks.
