did this movie get released in theaters?

i am seeing this for the first time on This TV channel. trying to find more info i pretty much hit a dead end. no reviews on MRQE or Rotten Tomatoes. no wiki entry.

i would think a film with beau bridges and susan surandon would have a little more info than this.

this seems like borderline horror. i'm trying to figure out what the tone is.

when i turned it on jesse was checking into a hotel.

if someone can point me to a detailed summary of the story that would be great.
