Hello, I used to have Once upon a time on tape but I recently lost it and I was wondering if anyone has any clue where I can buy this film. Thanks

It has been a while since the above message was posted but in the event someone else is looking for this film and has found it or knows where it can be located I would pay good money to have a copy if you could get me that information. I loved this movie as a child but only ever saw it a few times with my brother in the theater. He doesn't even remember it. My memories are sketchy...I know there were two sisters, Maria the good sister with her Blue dog Bellow, a purple amulet, a well, a prince and his father trying to talk accross this incredibly long table in a palace, the evil sister with dark hair, some clumsey guy who tried to court the evil sister and a little bit about the land down the well but thats it...oh..yeah...the song I've had stuck in my head for more than 26 years...just one verse of it.."Maria, Maria..you and only you...Maria, Maria...you and only you." Very frustrating. I have a new baby daughter and would love to have this movie for her and I to watch together someday. I'll check back often so please post a reply. Thanks and God Bless! i got lucky, my boyfriend found it on eBay. it used to be a rental. use keywords "once upon a time video gems". the big problem is that it's RARE and can go over $30, even if it doesn't have the original box.

I don't know if you'll ever look at this again...but I had to respond. I have been looking for this movie for as long as you--it sounds like--and I seem to have ALL of the same memories (I think even more sketchy)!!!.....I only remember the song as "Maria, Maria, La-La-La-La-Laaaa" (same syllables!!) Now I can at least fill in THOSE blanks---so thank you!
SO, if you check this, and you found it---PLEASE let me know how....or let me pay you for a copy!!!!!

You can find the movie now on Amazon.com. It's now on DVD! How wonderful and funny that there are other people besides me that loved this movie and have waited so long to have a copy; and we all seem to have the same fond memories and the songs have stayed in our minds!

If this is the movie I am thinking about, I was about 8 when I saw it in the theater. I only saw it that one time and years later wondered what happened to it. The only things I remember are the title and that there were two girls-one good, one...not so good, and BABIES, lots and lots of babies. I remember they were holding the babies and one of them peed all down the not-so-good girl's dress. Is this the same movie?

Hi I have also loved this movie and watched every time my parents would let me pick a video when I was a child. Just found it on the Blockbuster rental website, looks like you can get used ones for sale.
