shareShe wanted to see if he'd bring the ransom money, therefore showing that he truly loved her. And she wanted to get revenge for him not bringing the ransom money the first time, and causing her mom to die as a result.
I understand the need for revenge, but pretending to be her father's lover for a while should have been pretty ew. And frankly she didn't strike me like the kind of girl who could lie and pretend so flawlessly. The twist does explain her obsession with Elisabeth nicely, though.
