They are having a big get together tonight (Halloween) in Northville.
They plan on having the Scopions Motorcycle Club present and the producer Tom VanDyke.
They have a small Theater (Genitti's) on Mail St. where they will play the movie all night.

The DVD release party at Genniti's Hole in the Wall was a blast! Thomas Dyke was there along with other members of the cast and crew.

The newly remastered disk looks good considering they intended this to be a drive-in movie and deliberately used grainy film stock and mostly avaialable lighting. There are a few rough transitions and a few of the bits I remember doing during the truck driving scene seem to be missing from this version. I'll have to check my vhs version to see if my one-handed book match lighting trick was included there.

One thing I did not know before was that Nick Nolte did the sound looping of the dialoge of the Chris character.

This new dvd version is available from their website: www.northvillecemeterymassacre.com or from amazon.com.

I just purchased the 30th Anniversary DVD for fifteen bucks at a local mom'n'pop music store. The quality of the transfer is excellent. The first-rate extras include three commentaries, a behind-the-scenes still gallery and a poster and lobby card gallery. It's a terrific DVD which gives this gnarly movie the deluxe treatment it completely deserves.

Q: What's the biggest room in the world? A: The room for improvement.
