Why isn't this film more popular?

I simply can not understand why this movie is not popular. It's hilarious, has a great plot and even won an Oscar. The way I found out about this was looking through a winners list of "Best foreign language films".

At the time it won the Oscar, most people felt "Seven Beauties" really deserved the prize and "Cousin, Cousine" was an art house hit. So this was never a popular choice for the award.

But it's still a very good movie

I've found it the same way...
