What an amazing movie! Let's discuss!

Paul Mazursky is my new favorite director. Two days ago, my life was changed (it's always changing a little) when I saw "Harry and Tonto" and then today I see another amazing film. I'm already feeling empty knowing that there will be a day I'll have finish all of his movies, that is, if I can find them.

I had been meaning to see the film since early afternoon, but I was on AOL, chatting in the same room as usual, was waiting for a lull in conversation, but that didn't happen. It was the perfect activity before this, as we were talking about life, art, film, heroes, aspirations, etc...

This movie is about a young adult who wants to be an actor, and leaves home to do so, even though his mother is hysterical about him leaving. He has a girlfriend, and has a clique of friends, mostly young, artistic, but they all differ. Some are more closer than others, but there's always something happening. Great, great film.

Anything else I mention is a spoiler. It's the people that make the movie, the situations. It's very humorous, the writing is clever. Shelley Winters is amazing in this, and has a lot of great actors. The lead actor is the most unknown actually.
