Movie has more one liners than you can shake a stick at

Seriously...RIP Peter Faulk.....this is one of my favorite comedies of all time. Makes me wish someone could write something as clever these days.

To give credit where its due. Neil Simon wrote the screenplay for this, not Peter Falk.

Do you think they're cognisant of how bad they got it?
Lets hope not, poor b@sterds

reply

Don't you mean "shake a schtick at"?

reply

I don't think the original poster was saying that Peter Falk wrote the movie. Just making two comments.

If you only knew the power of the Dark Side!

"Makes me wish someone could write something as clever these days." I know what you mean. My father and I are watching the movie now, and he was just saying "they don't make 'em like this anymore". :)

And yes, all those one liners, unforgettable! ^_^

Many of the people who enjoyed this one also liked "Clue" (1985) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088930/).

Inspired by the board game of the same name.
Excellent cast.
Lots of witty dialogue, wonderfully delivered.

"How many husbands have you had?"
"My own, or other women's?"
"I was going to expose you."
"That's why I decided to expose myself."
"Please! There are ladies present."

I love the movie and now so does my 12 year old son. It's wonderful!

You get Peter falk and other cast members from "Murder by Death" in "The Cheap Detective", also written by the brilliant Neil Simon.

*** The trouble with reality is there is no background music. ***

Falk, not FAULK.

Anyway, your title creates an uncontrollable urge in me to type a completely offensive and ridiculously politically-incorrect joke about Michael J. Fox.

However, I don't want to write something so tasteless, so I will just leave it at: "I think there are people, whose abilities might overcome the limitations you have imposed in your title".
