like a joke that the police are chasing them, but in fact it's all deadly serious. I would have liked the music to be more dramatic, and then the ending would be more poignant. That's just my feeling.

Yeah they really screwed that up, such a waste of some great stunts.. the hillbilly music ruined it, imo
shareThe music didn't ruin it for me as much as the ridiculous "sped up" film during some of the chase scenes. It looked so absurd sometimes, like an old silent movie...seeing the people in the vehicles jerk around in fast speed, etc. Really took me out of the excitement in those parts.
