Inspiration for Dukes of Hazzard + San Andreas?

Caught the last half of this movie on FMC and I instantly felt that it was an episode out of Dukes of Hazzard (music, car chase sequences, sappy acting).

I wondered if the creators of Dukes of Hazzard were inspired by this movie?

Also I don't believe the movie was hiding the fact that it was based in California (way too many palm trees to be Georgia or Alabama), though I would agree with other posters that the music then, did not really suit it.

Lastly, if you ever played the video game "Grand Theft Auto - San Andreas", they have a "country" setting in the game that looks very familiar to some of the scenes in the movie. Also wondering if Rockstar (makers of "San Andreas") were inspired by this movie.
