I was only fast-forwarding through this movie to see Raquel in all her glory (and I was disappointed). But at one point, doesn't she say that she's only 23? I mean, she is fine as hell, but 23? No way. She was 36 when she made this movie, and looking great, but not looking 23.

I didn't watch the whole movie (SPOILERS) but the only character I saw refer to his age was the guy who rode with Cosby until he was shot by the crazy patient. He said something like I'm 23 years old, and I never meet any women except for .... or something like that.

Yes, that was Leroy (Bruce Davidson) that said he was 25 years old and something like $6.25 to his name. He was shot by the addict wielding a shotgun played by Toni Basil.

shareGrowing up in the 70s and 80s, I got the impression that all women lied about their age, like it was expected. The dating scene and divorce scene were huge and it was all about the singles bars. Younger is better. Maybe she was trying to be funny. Mom always said she was 29 or 22, but obviously wasn't. She wasn't expecting anyone to believe her. It's a nice way of saying my age is none of your business.
