When Pierre and Robert depart at the train station, they kiss each other in cheek three times! Anyone has explanation why three times - I only that orthodox Christians kiss three times. Maybe Jews as well, so it was Monsieur Klein's unconscious act? But I'm sure this scene has it's meaning and purpose.
In France, men who are family members or very close friends kiss. Depending on where you are from in France, you kiss up to four times. I'm pretty sure it's three times in Paris. Pierre is Delon's lawyer and close friend too so them kissing is normal.
