By all accounts, this movie may have been a disaster, but plenty of other disasters have made it to DVD, and many more to VHS. Why not "A Matter of Time"? I don't care how bad it is, a Vincente Minnelli movie with Liza and Ingrid Bergman deserves to be released in SOME format. I don't suppose there's anyone out there who knows of any effort to get it released? It just doesn't seem fair!

You can buy it on DVD at modcinema.com, they have a few other Liza movies like The Sterile Cuckoo and Junie Moon. hope that helps...
shareA Matter of Time is not "bad" at all, except to Philistines. The film itself, as conceived by Vincente Minnelli, is exquisite. The botched form in which it was released, hacked and virtually destroyed a callous distributor, is a travesty of the raw material. It is never going to be a movie that will hold any appeal for the masses, but will be cherished by those who appreciate Vincente Minnelli's art and especially we who adore Liza.
